What do the plans cost?
Free costs nothing. Starter is £5.99 a month, Pro is £39 and Team is £149. For now you pay in USDC from your Vybe wallet: $7.99, $49 and $189 a month.
Can I start free and upgrade later?
Yes. Free has no time limit and needs no card. Upgrade when a smaller share on each sale covers the plan. For Starter that is about $160 a month in sales. Paid plans cancel any time and drop back to Free.
Who pays for tools like this?
People who work with AI assistants, like developers in Cursor and teams using Claude or ChatGPT. Their assistant needs live data or an action it cannot do on its own, and your tool provides it. People without an assistant can pay on your tool’s page.
Do I need to write code?
No. Say what goes in and what comes back, in plain English. If your tool calls an API that already exists, you can start from its OpenAPI docs link instead. You test it with real inputs before it goes live.
How do AI assistants use my tool?
Every tool gets its own address, like name.vybetools.app/mcp. Anyone can add it to Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT or another app that supports MCP. List it on the Vybe marketplace so people can find it.
How do buyers pay?
Paid tools charge per use. An AI assistant pays from the buyer’s Vybe account, inside spending limits the buyer sets. People can also pay by card or crypto on your tool’s page. You can give free tries and sell bundles of uses at a discount.
How do I get paid?
Each sale goes to your Vybe wallet in USDC, a digital dollar. Vybe keeps a share: 10% on Free, 5% on Starter, 3% on Pro and 2% on Team. From your wallet you can send it on or cash out.
What counts as a use?
One request to your tool. Paid uses are never capped. Free uses (a free tool, or a free try before buying) count towards your plan’s monthly allowance, which resets on the 1st.
My tool needs an API key. Is it safe?
Yes. Keys are sealed the moment you save them, and only the server that runs your tool can open them. Buyers never see them, and neither does the Vybe dashboard.
What if my tool stops working?
Listed tools are checked regularly. If one stops answering, we email you so you can fix it before buyers notice.
Can I use my own web address?
Not yet. It is coming to Pro and Team. Until then, every tool lives on a vybetools.app address.
