About Vybe

Built for people who work without borders.

Vybe exists because earning in dollars and living outside traditional banking still means wrestling with wallets, gas, and fee-heavy cards. We’re fixing the interface.

Why we started

Global work. Local banking friction.

Freelancers and creators in markets like Nigeria get paid in USDC and USDT—then hit products designed for traders. Seed phrases. Gas tokens. Dollar cards that charge before you’ve spent a naira.

Vybe is the opposite bet: a gasless smart wallet you open with email, payments by @username, and a virtual dollar card with $0 creation and $0 maintenance when it ships.

What we believe

Principles that show up in the product.

Dollars first, crypto second

People want stable value and simple payments—not a masterclass in gas markets. The chain should disappear into the product.

Names beat addresses

Humans pay humans. @username is how money apps should have always worked on-chain.

Fees that aren’t a tax on existence

A free virtual card isn’t a gimmick—it’s a refusal to charge freelancers for access to rails they already earned into.

Interface, not balance sheet

Vybe is software. Wallets, gas sponsorship, and card networks run through licensed partners. Clarity over theater.

Important clarity

Vybe is a technology interface. It does not operate as a bank or exchange that holds customer funds on its own balance sheet. Smart wallets, gas sponsorship, and upcoming card rails are provided through partners such as Crossmint and Visa networks. Always read product disclosures in-app as features launch.

Open your wallet. Claim @you. Bring your circle.

The best feedback comes from freelancers actually moving dollars—not from slide decks.
