Why we started

Global work. Local banking friction.

Freelancers and creators in markets like Nigeria get paid across borders—then hit products designed for traders or banks that never showed up for them. Addresses. Gas tokens. Cards that charge before you’ve spent a thing.

Vybe is the opposite bet: one balance, payments by @username, invoices that credit that balance, and bank rails to fund or cash out—without making you pick a “crypto life” or a “bank life.”

What we believe

Principles that show up in the product.

One balance, many ways in

Invoices, transfers, and bank deposits should credit the same number. People want money they can use—not five apps pretending to be one wallet.

Names beat addresses

Humans pay humans. @username is how money apps should work. Hex strings are for machines.

Rails stay out of the way

Crypto where it unlocks access. Bank and local rails where regulation or habit demands it. You shouldn’t need a masterclass to move money.

Interface, not balance sheet

Vybe is software. Banking, identity, and settlement run through licensed partners. Clarity over theater.

Important clarity

Vybe is a technology interface. It does not operate as a bank or exchange that holds customer funds on its own balance sheet. Settlement, banking, and identity checks run through licensed partners. Always read in-app disclosures as features launch.
